St John’s is a Catholic primary school in the suburb of Narraweena, between Beacon Hill and Dee Why on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Our main task as a Catholic school is to bring children to a commitment to be disciples of Jesus. It is a task that we work towards together with parents every day.

Academically, our students are provided with a broad and rich curriculum with many excellent learning opportunities. We strongly believe in providing an all-round education catering for the academic, emotional, social, physical and spiritual needs of the children.

We are blessed with a talented and dedicated staff who have created a safe, caring and quality environment for learning and playing. Our parent body is very involved in all aspects of our school, and provides us with much needed physical and financial support. We also believe in the importance of building a learning community that involves everyone – staff, parents and children.

As one of the first primary schools in the diocese of Broken Bay to take on the ‘Shared Wisdom’ model of governance, we are now in the fortunate position of having a well-formed and enthusiastic School Board to assist with the leadership of the school.
