Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) values every child as a precious gift from God. We provide a faith-filled, Christ-centred, learning environment that strives to ensure every student is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We acknowledge the role parents and carers play as the first educators of their children in faith formation, learning and wellbeing. CSBB will support families and work in partnership with them to facilitate positive learning outcomes. The child is at the centre of all discernment regarding enrolment and their learning and faith journey as a student with CSBB.
CSBB is dedicated to offering our students and their families the opportunity to participate in a community grounded in faith, dignity, respect, compassion, and care. We aim to provide authentic learning by fostering an environment where students are given the chance to flourish.
CSBB offers a variety of educational settings across our Diocese to meet the particular needs of our students with some mainstream schools offering support classes. CSBB is also working towards establishing dedicated schools that provide tailored support for students with a disability, with each school setting playing an equally important role in ensuring student growth, while affirming our shared mission.
We provide principals with ongoing professional development, guidance and resources to support effective decision making to ensure that schools are places of welcome. CSBB strengthens this work by providing access to subject matter experts in schools as required.
Whilst we strive to provide all we can, we acknowledge there may be times when other educational settings will be better suited to the needs of a student. In these circumstances we commit to working in partnership with families to explore the most suitable options for their child, always with respect, transparency, and care.

Enrolment Process
Step 1 | Enrolment Application Form
Download and complete the Enrolment Form and submit with supporting documentation directly to the school.
The student’s original birth certificate is required to be sighted by the school during the enrolment application process. The school will advise details.
Any additional supporting or required documentation is to be submitted with the Enrolment Application Form (where applicable and available). The Enrolment Application process will not be completed until all required documentation has been received and verified.
Step 2 | Enrolment Application Review and Assessment
This step provides an opportunity for the school to understand the student’s individual needs and gather any additional information that may support their enrolment and transition. It is a collaborative process involving families and schools, ensuring thoughtful discernment and shared understanding.
Once your Enrolment Application and supporting documentation has been received by the school, our Enrolments Officer will contact you to arrange a Family Meeting, if required. These meetings typically occur soon after the application is submitted.
All parties to the Enrolment Application, including the enrolling student, are encouraged to attend. This meeting is a valuable opportunity to:
- Meet with the school Principal.
- Share insights about the student.
- Provide or clarify any additional information needed to support the application.
- Develop a shared understanding of CSBB and our schools’ values, policies and processes.
Step 3 | Enrolment Offer or Waitlist
After the Enrolment Process has been completed, including the review of the Enrolment Application, the completion of the family meeting (where appropriate), and the collection and assessment of all relevant information, you will be contacted directly by the school regarding your application.
The outcome of your Enrolment Application is based on our Enrolment Policy and supporting information.
Step 4 | Confirmation of Enrolment
Following an Enrolment Offer, all parties to the Enrolment Application will be asked to sign and complete the Enrolment Agreement by a requested date. Confirmation of Enrolment will only be confirmed once the Enrolment Agreement is signed and submitted. Once the signed Enrolment Agreement has been submitted and verified against the Enrolment Application, you will receive a confirmation of the enrolment.
Step 5 | Welcome to Catholic Schools Broken Bay
Once you have received the Confirmation of Enrolment, we will then provide you with transition and orientation dates to welcome your family to our school community.
