We are proud to introduce one of our new Principals for Catholic Schools Broken Bay, Mr Anthony Mahoney, Principal, Mater Maria Catholic College, Warriewood.
Mr Mahoney takes on the role of Principal of Mater Maria Catholic College, bringing a deep commitment to Catholic education and a passion for nurturing young people to flourish. Having always wanted to be a teacher, Anthony often reflects that he has never “worked” a day in his life, seeing education as a true vocation.
With experience in a range of leadership roles across Catholic schools, most recently serving as Acting Principal and in system leadership roles with Catholic Schools Broken Bay, Mr Mahoney is honoured to join an already outstanding and thriving school community, known for its strong culture, academic excellence and faith-filled identity. Dedicated to building on these firm foundations, Mr Mahoney is committed to strengthening partnerships with families, supporting staff and ensuring every student feels known, valued and challenged to achieve their personal best.
“As Principal, I hope to honour the rich history and traditions of our school while continuing to grow a vibrant Catholic identity grounded in Gospel values. I aspire to foster a culture of excellence and care, where every student is inspired to flourish academically, spiritually and personally, and to leave a legacy of faithful stewardship that strengthens community and inspires young people to become the person they are called to be.”
