A heavy timber cross was meticulously constructed by students and staff during woodworking lessons, which was raised with the crucified Jesus. Remote-controlled smoke machines were activated with the score of period music, which increased the intensity of the divine narrative being handed on to the next generation.

Sam H, who played Jesus said “It is a huge responsibility to play the part of Jesus; I was honoured and humbled to be chosen for the part. The event was incredibly emotional; I could feel the atmosphere, it was quite intense.”
