Throughout the two-year program, you will be paid to study a Certificate IV in Information Technology while working in one of our schools. As a trainee, you will gain valuable workplace experience and learn new skills through one-on-one mentoring and coaching. We have multiple full-time traineeships within Catholic Schools Broken Bay starting in 2024, located at several school sites across the Central Coast, Northern Beaches, and Northern Sydney.
We are looking for tech savvy and innovative young men and women who aren’t afraid to get involved with a broad range of IT challenges. As a trainee, everyday will be different and exciting as you learn new skills and solve problems including but not limited to:
- Installing and configuring software and applications on devices including PCs, laptops, and tablets.
- Troubleshooting of programs and applications to resolve issues that occur.
- Enrolling, Installing, and configuring devices and hardware in line with CSBB network requirements.
- Monitoring the DE service desk portal to providing in person and online assistance to staff and students
