MacKillop Catholic College at Warnervale celebrated their Feast Day with an amazing House Feast Day Festival and a whole of College Mass, brimming with cheering, singing and clapping, celebrated by Fr Paul Kim.
The House Festival is a new event borne from the inspiration of the new student leadership team brought together the six houses of Fitzroy, Penola, Gesu, Alma, Temuka and Kincumber, it too was full of colour, singing and dancing was something to behold.
Each House presented a Primary, Secondary and Whole House item with judges allocating points for each performance. In a tie for first place between Penola and Kincumber the new House Shield was presented by College Principal, Steve Todd, to Leaders of both the Houses.
The College spirit displayed at the Feast Day celebrations was sensational with one parent commenting ‘This was the best event she has ever seen at a school.’
