Teachers and leaders from a number of Northern Beaches Cluster Catholic Primary Schools recently took advantage of an extended hours professional learning opportunity that challenged them to consider how the eLearning demands of the NSW English K-6 Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum might be met through the adoption of iPad Technologies.
Led by the eLearning Facilitator of St Kieran’s Catholic School in Manly Vale, Tracy Brown, participants engaged in a range of practical activities that enabled them to explore learning contexts through which the continuum of Digital Text Production could be referenced.
One highlight of the professional learning experience was the showcase and celebration of teacher-created multimodal texts that was made possible through the use of iPad and Apple TV technologies.
