With children in our schools commencing school holidays on Thursday, 9 April, parents may be wondering how they can entertain them over the weeks ahead. Increasingly enforced restrictions on travel and activities with others outside the home will present additional challenges this year.
Whilst it’s easy to Google fun holiday activities for home, the Catholic Schools Office has gathered some of the best of these for primary and secondary students. We have listed activities for inside and outside as well as online activities.
For the first time in living memory churches will be closed during Holy Week – the most holy of weeks culminating in the Easter Vigil. Simple activities for families to share faith and celebrate the events of Holy Week and Easter have also been listed. Encouraged by our Bishop, Anthony Randazzo, let’s stay ‘Connected in Christ’.
